Delete Your Account
You can permanently delete your Gardnz account and every garden, planting, and harvest record attached to it — from inside the app in about ten seconds, or by email if you no longer have the app installed.
Before you start
Deletion is immediate and permanent. Your account, gardens, garden beds, plantings, and harvest history are removed from our database and cannot be recovered — not by you, and not by us. If you want to keep your harvest records, write them down first.
Delete from inside the app
This is the fastest way and it requires nothing from us:
Make sure you are signed into the account you want to delete.
It sits in the top-right corner of any main screen.

You will be asked to confirm once. After you confirm, your account and all associated data are deleted, you are signed out, and the app returns to the sign-in screen.
Request deletion by email
If you cannot access the app, email us and we will delete the account for you:
Send your request from — or include — the email address associated with your Gardnz account so we can verify it. We complete verified deletion requests within 30 days, and usually much sooner.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account removes your user record and everything linked to it:
- Your account email address and display name
- Your password credential, if you registered with a password
- All access and refresh tokens, which signs you out everywhere
- Your gardens, including the saved coordinates and hardiness zone
- Your garden beds and their dimensions and sun exposure
- Your plantings, planting notes, and growth stage history
- Your harvest logs, quantities, ratings, and notes
Two things are not tied to your account and are not part of this deletion: short-lived operational request logs kept by our hosting providers, which contain no garden content, and our anonymous weather cache, which is keyed by rounded coordinates and expires on its own within about 30 minutes. Deleting the app is not the same thing
Removing Gardnz from your device deletes the copy of your session stored locally, but it does not delete your account on our servers. Use one of the two methods above if you want your data gone.
